Yes, the old one I guess has been working without oil. It would have cost 600-700 euro to repair... but I was lucky to find a brand new instead for 200euro!!! The old engine called B14.2S and this one B14.3S. At this there is pulseairsystem but it is plugged but beside that it?s the same engine. I have also changed the frontshields(spatboord?)and painted them and changed many parts allover the car. I think it?s only the generator I haven?t been touching (yet)...

Oh, the old one was a 14.2, I have a 343 from 1980 and that's with a 14.1.
The 14.2 (also) didn't have a coolant hose from the cylinderhead to the carburator?

The striping you mention would be great. I am definately putting it on my car, so the set i have is not for sale The blinds on the rear window are nice too. What do you mean with x-lights?

1L on 10 km is not very good, but not extreme for a B14.2 setup.
(I presume you mounted the original B14.2 manifolds, carburettor and ignition on the B14.3?)

A complete B14.3 (with single stage carburettor) runs a fair bit more economical, but it's a bit weak on the manifold. -cracks often-

I have a 343 with a B14.4 block (basically the same as yours) but I put only some cosmetical parts from the B14.0 original engine. carb and ignition is latest type.

X/lights are extra headlights. I found a yellow pair and I was not shure if that was legal to put on in Sweden but it was happily. If you some day find a stripingkit, I know a man thats very interesting in that...

Yes, the B14.3 was clean when I bought it. It was only the oilfilter that sat on the engine. All other equipment I had to put over from the old engine. 8.5l is good. I am gonna drive the car this month out and then it is wintertime... I have a V40T4 as winter and "common" drivingcar (we call it "bruksbil" in swedish). My other cars are only for fun...!

Even if you find an old original stripingkit, it probably won't stick to the car anymore...you'll have to reproduce it.
