He is one of those naturally gifted presenters who doesn’t need to splutter and gesticulate in front of the cameras because he is entirely comfortable in his own skin, which is combined with an enviable gift for explaining complicated technology in a lucid way.
In tonight’s programme, he looksat the crazy ways of getting from A to B – at flying ships and flying cars, at rocket packs and strap-on helicopters, at cars that don’t need drivers and teleportation. It is an immensely entertaining programme, brimming with mind-blowing technology and dry humour.
