De beste wensen voor 2008!

Hallo lieden, alle goeds voor 2008! En was de kerst hier al wit door een flinke sneeuwstorm(die ook over het NO van de VS trok) voor oudjaarsavond is de voorspelling ook wit en fris getuige deze mededeling;


...Significant snowfall for the start of the new year...

A low pressure system will move across the lower lakes region new
years day.  Snow ahead of the system is expected to develop over
Southwestern Ontario Monday evening...Reaching Toronto and the Golden
Horseshoe area about the time that the new year is heralded in.
The snow will then continue to spread eastward to reach the St
Lawrence Valley early new years morning.

General snowfall amounts in the order of 10 centimetres are expected
Before the snow tapers off late new years day.  However..Depending on
The track of the low..Some places near the lower lakes could see
amounts in excess of 15 centimetres.  Meanwhile northern cottage
country and the Ottawa Valley should escape most of the snow from
this system.  Cold Arctic air will flood into all regions late new
years day.

Environment Canada will monitor this situation closely.  Listen for
further statements.  Additional information may also be found by
consulting the latest public forecast.  The next public forecast will
be issued by 5 AM.

Voor de meer geinteresseerden, ik zit in Sebringville(vlakbij Stratford), Ontario Canada 


Er is hier deze maand al meer dan 80cm in totaal gevallen, niet alles ligt er meer(er dooit wel eens wat weg) maar er ligt nog steeds genoeg en nu dus weer wat erbij


Wat zal ik dat missen zeg dat er sneeuw valt die gewoon blijft liggen langer dan een dag......
