I bought a gear box (M47R) 2 years ago. I plan it to establish this year.
But not everything is so smooth.

I received it here in such look




From plant on Volvo M47R was established
But on Volvo M45R (probably someone from last owners put it) is established.

Whether all necessary spare parts from M45R on this M47R will approach?

Have you got enough oil in the gearbox?

Try changing the gearboxoil .Most of the time that solves the problem.

You need automatic transmision fluid for the gearbox something like 80w90.
