Piston rings

Hy guys! My name is Alex, i`m 30 and i live in Romania.
My daily driver is a 87 GLT and before i used a 84 GLE (i keep it for spares).
I want to know how much costs a set of piston rings for a B200E engine, and also for journal bearings- i don`t know the exact term, are the ones in the big "eye" of rod. And...where can i find them.

You should be able to buy them at the local dealership or car parts store. You can also get them from nordicar.nl or folkraceshop.se. They are pretty cheap.
Isn't it an easier/better idea to just swap the engine from another car? Might be a nice time to upgrade to a B23/230.
Swapping is probably quite a bit cheaper. I'd only rebuild an engine if finding a low mileage engine(sub 250/300k klm) is impossible.

You can probably get a strong running B200/B230 over here for E100-150.

Thank you Ruben for your reply. My engine has done 150.000 km and it smokes when i drive it hard, above 3000t/min (power start from the red traffic light). At a normal driving, in town or on the motorway, i can`t see blue smoke coming out the exhaust. I did check the compression and it`s fine and i want to change the timing belt plus valves o-rings. I hope this will help (changing the valve steam seals), leaving the rings in peace. :y:
